Teaching Artists

Currently there is one (1) open position.

If you love music and teaching then look no further! We want our Teaching Artist to work collaboratively and independently to ensure students are making steady progress on their music literacy skills and can manage their class to create a safe, welcoming, and rigorous environment in their classrooms.

Requirements

You are a musician.
You have at least one year of music teaching experience with young people.
Can provide PA Child Abuse Clearances
You can work during school/after school hours as well as any occasional weekends
You have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Teaching Artist Application

Mini-Masterclass Presenter

Generation Music introduced our Mini Masterclasses in 2019 with the idea of focusing young minds to the sounds and visuals of orchestral instruments. Within this workshop, students are able to have a one-on-one presentation of each orchestral instrument led by a guest musician (You!).

Requirements:

You are a musician.
You feel comfortable leading a class of at least 10 students.
Can provide PA Child Abuse Clearances
You can work during after school hours as well as any occasional weekends
You have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
